Position Summary
The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to support receiving, shipping, warehouse, and production operations. This position ensures materials, pallets, and finished goods are moved safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining inventory accuracy and a clean, organized work environment.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid forklift certification required, or ability to complete company-approved forklift certification.
- Experience operating sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts preferred.
- Experience supporting receiving, shipping, warehouse, manufacturing, or RMA operations preferred.
- Ability to safely load and unload trucks, trailers, pallets, equipment, and materials.
- Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 65 lbs as required.
- Ability to push, pull, bend, stand, walk, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
- Ability to read pallet labels, shipping labels, part numbers, serial numbers, and basic warehouse documentation.
- Basic computer, barcode scanner, or inventory-system knowledge preferred.
- Ability to follow all company safety procedures, forklift traffic rules, and OSHA requirements.
- Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and proper material handling.
- Ability to prioritize urgent Receiving, Shipping, and RMA material-movement requests to prevent operational delays.
- Ability to work independently while also supporting Receiving, Shipping, Warehouse, Production, and Operations teams.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S requirements.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts when required.
