    Position Details

    Position: Forklift MechanicLocation: Yuma, AZ Pay Rate: $37.88 – $55.95 per hour (based on experience and education)

    Responsibilities

    About Us

    Quinn Company’s Forklift Division offers a comprehensive lineup of material handling equipment throughout California. Our equipment supports a wide range of applications—from indoor warehouses and distribution centers to construction sites and port operations.

    Primary Responsibilities for Forklift Technician

    • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on forklifts and material handling equipment
    • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
    • Disassemble, overhaul, and reassemble engines, transmissions, differentials, and other components
    • Service equipment ranging from minor adjustments to major repairs
    • Work on CAT, Mitsubishi, Jungheinrich, Manitou, Kalmar, Harlo, Genie, and other allied equipment
    • Complete work orders, safety inspections, and timekeeping documentation accurately
    • Maintain company tools and equipment to safety and cleanliness standards
    • Use diagnostic tools, welding equipment, hoists, and other shop tools as required
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
    • Provide excellent communication and customer service
    • Work overtime as needed

    Requirements

    • Experience working on forklifts, heavy equipment, or related machinery
    • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
    • Must own and maintain tools of the trade
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
    • One-year certificate or associate’s degree from a community college or technical school preferred
    • Five plus years of heavy equipment experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    Qualifications

    One-year certificate or Associates degree from a community college or technical school; Minimum five plus year's of CAT dealer experience and ten year's heavy equipment industry experience or equivalent education and experience.
