Supervisor, Patient Access

Essential Responsibilities •Ensures Director/Senior Leadership are informed of any significant issues affecting patient satisfaction, timeliness of services, reimbursement, or patient flow. •Collaborate with local Department Leaders/Administration, Revenue Cycle leaders, and Patient Entry Ops Leadership team to improve processes and outcomes. •Responsible for adequate staffing and coverage in all Patient Entry areas. •Supervise staff performance and provide guidance, feedback, and coaching where necessary. •Resolves operational issues and challenges for the department. •Ensure the accuracy and completeness of daily registrations, including insurance eligibility and benefits verification. •Complete staff evaluations •Assist with the recruitment, scheduling, and discipline of staff. •Provide high-quality service to patients and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. •Train staff on policies, procedures, systems, and regulatory requirements. •Monitor quality assurance measures and ensure compliance with JCAHO, HIPAA, and other standards. •Ensure proper utilization of software and technology tools. Education Level Bachelor's - Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree Experience Level Minimum of 3 years of experience, including at least 1 year in a management role - Previous supervisory experience preferred. - Flexible in maintaining and responding during operational hours - Knowledge of JCAHO, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 5.00%
