Associate Vice President - Group Strategy & Corporate Development

About the Role:

As an AVP – Group Strategy & Corporate Development, you will play a key role in shaping and executing RAKBANK's strategic agenda. Working closely with the EVP & Head of Group Strategy & Corporate Development, you will drive enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and business planning activities that support the Bank's long-term growth and performance.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support the development and execution of RAKBANK's strategic roadmap and transformation agenda.
• Drive strategic planning activities and ensure alignment between corporate strategy, business plans, and execution priorities.
• Manage and monitor key bank-wide strategic initiatives and transformation programs.
• Conduct market, industry, competitor, and macroeconomic analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
• Develop business cases, financial models, and strategic recommendations for senior management.
• Support the annual strategic planning and budgeting process in partnership with Finance and business leaders.
• Track strategic performance, monitor KPIs, and recommend corrective actions where required.
• Prepare executive presentations, management reports, and committee materials.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and successful execution of strategic priorities.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Management Consulting, Corporate Development, Banking, Financial Services, or a related field.
• Proven experience supporting strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and business planning activities.
• Strong track record of working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience within banking, financial services, consulting, or other highly analytical corporate environments.
• Solid understanding of business performance management, strategic planning, market analysis, and financial modelling.
