At RAKBANK, we are committed to operational excellence, accuracy, and control. As an Officer – Treasury Operations (Fixed Income Desk), you will be responsible for managing treasury post-trade activities, securities settlements, reconciliations, and investment lifecycle events while ensuring strong governance, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage end-to-end processing and settlement of Fixed Income, Equities, Repo, and Reverse Repo transactions.
- Validate and authorize treasury transactions booked by Front Office teams, ensuring accuracy and completeness of trade details.
- Process Bonds, Sukuk, Treasury Bills, UAE M-Bills, EMTNs, and other investment securities throughout their lifecycle.
- Monitor and process coupon payments, profit distributions, maturities, redemptions, and corporate action events.
- Handle equity settlements and corporate actions including dividends, stock splits, bonus issues, and rights issues.
- Process Repo and Reverse Repo transactions, including collateral management, interest calculations, and maturity settlements.
- Ensure timely settlement and confirmation of transactions with custodians, counterparties, brokers, and clearing agents.
- Perform daily reconciliations of securities positions, custodian accounts, Nostro accounts, treasury systems, and GL balances.
- Support treasury accounting, regulatory reporting, audit activities, and period-end closing processes.
- Drive process improvement, automation initiatives, UAT activities, and operational enhancement projects.
What We're Looking For:
- 5-8 years of experience in Treasury Operations, Treasury Back Office, Securities Operations, or Capital Markets Operations.
- Hands-on experience with Bonds, Sukuk, Treasury Bills, M-Bills, Equities, Repo, and Reverse Repo products.
- Strong understanding of securities settlement, custody operations, corporate actions, and treasury reconciliations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, or a related field. ACI/CISI certification is an advantage.
