What You’ll Do:
- Support preconstruction planning and coordination for residential construction projects.
- Review project plans, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and constructability.
- Assist with developing project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
- Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals.
- Prepare bid packages and scopes of work for subcontractors and vendors.
- Coordinate permitting, regulatory approvals, and project logistics.
- Assist with value engineering efforts to improve project quality and cost efficiency.
- Conduct site investigations and support project startup activities.
- Coordinate with project managers, field teams, architects, and engineers throughout the construction process.
- Help develop project-specific safety and quality plans before construction begins.
- These What You Need: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of construction or project engineering experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of construction scheduling, estimating, and permitting processes is preferred.
