    Job description

    We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to support our Oncology Ward.

    You will be required to:

    • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based training and support to the staff at our hospital
    • Develop, implement, and evaluate learning and development programs across the facility.
    • Provide valuable contributions to the hospital’s quality improvement process.
    • Facilitating department based training and clinical competency assessments
    • Work with the department manager and executive team to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

    Skills and Experience

    You will be an experienced nurse with strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills and a passion for education and professional development within the oncology and environment. You will need to have:

    • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Oncology, Hematology and Cancer Treatment
    • A Postgraduate qualification in this specialty
    • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in education, training, and competency development
    • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent adult education
    • Experience supporting accreditation processes, including participation in quality improvement activities, policy implementation, and compliance with national standards
    • Demonstrated ability to act as a positive professional role model, promoting safe practice, teamwork, and a culture of continuous learning
    • Leadership and team facilitation experience, supporting staff development, orientation programs and clinical competency frameworks
