Server Assistant-Courtyard

Reports directly to the Restaurant Lead Server / Supervisor.

· Requires dependable, punctual attendance, willingness to work Holidays and flexible days or hours according to business demands.

· Requires the “teamwork attitude” and willingness to assist Management and co-workers as needed.

· The ability to perform the following Server Assistant tasks per the Food and Beverage Departmental SOPs:

Ø Greet the Guest in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.

Ø Assist the Food Server by refilling water and/or other non-alcoholic beverages and water.

Ø Clear, clean and sanitize tables, being mindful of not interrupting or interfering with the Guest’s dining experience.

Ø Complete all Server Assistant stocking & side-work as described during the Training process.

Ø Assist the Restaurant Hosts in seating the Guests (if needed).

Ø Keep work area clean and organized in compliance with SNHD (Southern Nevada Health District) OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) regulations and F&B Departmental SOPs.

Ø All other duties as assigned by Management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

One (1) year experience working in a restaurant environment preferred.

AGE and CERTIFICATIONS:

· Must be 18 years of age or above.

· Ability to obtain the Southern Nevada Health Card.

· Ability to obtain the Alcohol Awareness Card (for those 21 years old & above).

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

· Ability to speak, read and understand written instructions in English required.

· Ability to speak and understand instructions in English required.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and busy. When on or near the casino floor or other designated areas, employee may be subjected to tobacco smoke.

Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
