Steward - Events Department

We're looking for an Event Steward to lead back-of-house stewarding operations at The Brook. In this role, you'll oversee sanitation, inventory, equipment management, and team performance to ensure every event and food & beverage operation runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily stewarding and sanitation operations across all food & beverage areas
• Manage inventory, ordering, storage, and cost control of service ware and equipment
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Conduct inventories, inspections, and operational walk-throughs
• Train, coach, and supervise stewarding team members
• Coordinate maintenance needs and support successful event execution
• Complete scheduling, payroll, reporting, and other administrative responsibilities
  

What We're Looking For

• Stewarding, banquet, hospitality, or food & beverage leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and inventory management
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead by example
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and events
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout shifts
