    Job description

    Process Technology (PT) is a Strategic Business Group at Honeywell focused on delivering technology‑driven solutions that enable customers to improve energy efficiency, sustainability, and operational performance in process‑intensive industries. The business provides advanced process technologies, digital solutions, and domain expertise to help customers optimize energy usage, reduce emissions, and support sustainable operations across industrial and energy markets.
    As a Sr IT Analyst – FICO in PT, you will manage SAP FICO and financial systems. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our financial technology landscape, ensuring our SAP and financial systems are optimized for performance, reliability, and alignment with business objectives. Your leadership will foster growth, development, and innovation within your team, while your technical expertise will drive the successful delivery of technology projects that enhance our competitive edge and operational efficiency.
    You will report directly to our Director, IT ERP Business Transformation and work out of our Shanghai, China location on a Hybrid schedule.

    In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the organization's technology strategies and projects, aligning them with business objectives. Your technical leadership will ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our IT systems, ultimately enhancing our competitive edge and operational efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze and optimize SAP FICO processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Analyze and improve financial and controlling IT systems to enhance performance and reliability.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement effective IT solutions.
    • Provide expert guidance on IT strategies related to financial systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Partner with Communities of Excellence (COEs) to do the demo of solution to the super users & business, SME’s
    • Functional data and data support and data mapping
    • Partner with COEs on assessing the needs of security profiles for the business and mapping security roles of super user with TO BE responsibilities
    • Guide and validate the business operating models based on Honeywell’s Global Design Model (GDM)
    • Training the super users to ensure they are ready to do UAT and BOAT and support end user training plan
    • Prepare and validate E2E testing, solution and scenario list
    • Suggest and execute mitigation actions required from the readiness assessment

    Qualifications

    YOU MUST HAVE
    •    5+ years of experience in IT analysis, particularly in financial systems.
    •    Proven track record of delivering IT projects
    •    Demonstrated experience in successfully participating in technology projects to completion.
    •    Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards in relevant industries.
    •    Proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools.
    WE VALUE
    •    Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    •    Experience with SAP ECC R/3 FICO with SAP S4 FICO experience preferred
    •    Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
    •    Excellent technical knowledge, communication, and decision-making skills.
    •    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    •    SAP certifications in Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), or related financial modules.
    •    Experience working in complex, global finance and controlling environments.
    •    Strong understanding of end‑to‑end financial processes, including record‑to‑report, cost management, and financial close.
    •    Experience supporting financial integration across business domains, including Manufacturing, Logistics, and Capital Projects.
    •    Ability to translate complex financial and controlling requirements into clear system designs and business requirements.
    •    Strong documentation, training, and communication skills.
    •    Experience with structured testing methodologies, deployment readiness, and hypercare support.
