Government Services Support Specialist

• Minimum Salary: $18.07
• Maximum Salary: $22.58

The GovPlanet Government Services Support Specialist responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient post sale operations in support of GovPlanet Contracts. You will support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to post sale operations and serve as point person for the Standard Form (SF 97) team. Duties include communicating via phone and email both within and outside the organization, ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

This is a hybrid work position that requires you to be in office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You will be working from home Mondays and Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the production and issuance of ownership documents provided to customers for Government Surplus rolling stock
• Produce, file, track, and send title documents and U.S. Government issued documents to current customers in support of various U.S. Government, Department of Defense (DoD), and State and Local Government contracts
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding inquiries on their SF 97
• Implement and continually improve standard operating procedures regarding the production, issuance, and tracking/reporting of Standard Form 97

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in clerical or administrative position
• Previous Military Experience with an adjudicated security clearance preferred.
• Computer literate with good command of Microsoft Office and proficient in Excel
• Must be extremely detail oriented, and maintain strict guidelines in reviewing customer provided documents
• Must be able to provide clear and concise instructions to customers regarding the completion of government provided forms
• Must remain flexible and ready to adapt to ever changing government agency requirements
• Ability to make sound judgment decisions.
• Proactively assess focus’ success and highlight potential problem areas with contingency plan.
• Potential planned travel to government locations from time to time
• Professional office work environment
