    Overview

    SITE SUPERVISOR – WASHINGTON, DC

    Prestigious Class A Commercial Office Building | Washington, DC

    Admiral Security Services is seeking an experienced and highly professional Site Supervisor to oversee daily security operations at a prestigious Class A commercial property in Washington, DC.

    The ideal candidate will be a confident security leader with strong management, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. This position requires someone who can effectively lead personnel, manage daily operations, interact professionally with building management, and respond appropriately to security incidents and emergencies.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Direct and oversee daily security operations.
    • Supervise, coach, train, and hold security personnel accountable.
    • Serve as a primary liaison with building management, contractors, law enforcement, and emergency response agencies.
    • Manage access control, life-safety procedures, emergency response, and incident management.
    • Investigate incidents and prepare accurate, professional reports and documentation.
    • Manage staffing, scheduling, attendance, performance, and post coverage.
    • Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with post orders and company standards.
    • Respond to emergencies with sound judgment and decisive leadership.
    • Participate in meetings with property management and company leadership.
    • Identify security concerns and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and security procedures.

    ADMINISTRATIVE & COMPUTER SKILLS

    The successful candidate must be comfortable performing the administrative functions required to manage a professional security operation, including:

    • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
    • Preparing reports, correspondence, schedules, and spreadsheets
    • Maintaining electronic records and documentation
    • Using scheduling, electronic reporting, and security management systems

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Previous experience as a Security Supervisor, Site Supervisor, Security Manager, or comparable supervisory security position.
    • Proven ability to lead and manage a professional security team.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent customer-service and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong incident-management and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Professional appearance and demeanor.
    • Ability to remain calm, composed, and decisive during emergencies.
    • Strong Microsoft Office and administrative skills.
    • Valid DC security credentials/licenses as required.
