2nd Shift - Floor Scrubber

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

·       General cleaning of ceilings, lights, walkways, ledges, beams, perimeters and racks

·       Maintain and operate the powered floor scrubber in accordance with the cleaning schedule

·       Empty and clean warehouse trash containers

·       Maintain, clean and do upkeep on warehouse signs, fire extinguishers, drop stations and safety mirrors

·       Clean warehouse equipment, stretch wrapper, dock pits and dock locks in accordance with the cleaning schedule

·       Paint and maintain warehouse floor lines and walls as necessary

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Ability to operate forklift.  Must pass Red Gold forklift operator requirements
• Prefer prior sanitation and/or forklift experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

·       On the job training regarding the operation of power scrubber, handling of chemical cleaners, and forklift operation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

·       Standing- to complete most all tasks

·       Walking

·       Climbing- to get to parts department, when using ladder

·       Reaching- to perform activities

·       Kneeling- to perform work activities at low levels

·       Crawling- to perform work activities under equipment

·       Squatting

·       Bending/stooping- to pick up tools or parts

·       Twisting- to perform work activities

·       Pinch- to use tools

• Grasping/handling- using tools

·       Must be able to work with arms above head for short periods of time

• Must be able to lift 40 pounds

·       Responsible for monitoring, record keeping and taking appropriate actions for specific Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan and pre requisite program requirements.

·       Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to management.
