The American home services industry is a $543B market, and most of it still runs on people manually juggling schedules, follow-ups, and jobs in progress. Redcar builds Job Horizon Agents: AI that holds full context on a job from first touch to finish, and manages the entire customer experience for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical companies.

We're building the world's only AI that helps home service companies manage their jobs. Our Agents don't just execute a single task; they act as autonomous team members for our customers' businesses, deciding when to act, when to wait, and when to loop in their team member for assistance.

We're led by CEO Jeff Chen, who launched "Hey Google" (now on 3 billion devices), alongside an elite team from Stanford and Princeton. We're backed by Khosla Ventures (early investors in OpenAI, DoorDash, and Affirm) and a select group of angels.

As a part of our founding team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company’s future. This is your chance to be part of a rocketship, working directly with seasoned founders, including Jeff Chen who has successfully exited two startups to Google and Zynga.

• Lead critical engineering projects by designing and developing complex, large-scale systems using our primary tech stack

• Bridge the gap between traditional Large Language Models (LLMs) and fully functional AI agents, solving some of the most challenging problems in the industry

• Collaborate closely with the founding team to innovate and drive substantial impact, building large and complex systems in one-third the time most competent people think is possible

• Be a cornerstone member of the founding team and play a direct role in revolutionizing the world with AI Agents

• Participate in a fast-paced environment with a clear path to making a tangible impact on a global scale

• Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python

• Ability to learn new technologies and frameworks at an accelerated pace

• Proven track record of designing and building large and complex systems efficiently

• BS or MS in Engineering from a top-tier four-year college in the US

• Extensive experience with MVC architectures such as NestJS or Django

• Graduated top 10% of class

• Familiarity with microservices architectures

• Experience in startup environments, thriving in agile and dynamic settings
