Product Operations Analyst

We’re looking for a highly organised and curious Product Operations Analyst to join Relm’s Product Innovation team.

This is an early-career opportunity for someone looking to build a career in insurance and gain exposure to how new insurance products are developed, launched and managed across a fast-growing, innovative business.

You’ll sit at the centre of the Product Innovation team, helping keep product workstreams organised, documentation accurate and projects moving forward. From maintaining our Product Library and tracking product launches to preparing reporting, coordinating stakeholders and supporting market research, you’ll play an important role in making sure the team operates efficiently.

While this role is primarily focused on operations rather than product design, there is a clear opportunity to develop your technical product knowledge over time and take on greater involvement in product development and innovation.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Maintain and organise Relm’s Product Library, including policy wordings, endorsements, marketing materials and version-controlled templates.
• Manage product documentation and filing processes through SharePoint.
• Track product development workstreams, milestones, deadlines and ownership.
• Coordinate meetings, agendas, actions and follow-ups across the Product Innovation team.
• Maintain trackers covering product launches, wording amendments, regulatory filings and market comparisons.
• Compile product and sector data to support dashboards, reporting and strategic team updates.
• Support the preparation of presentations and stakeholder materials, including formatting and proofreading.
• Assist with competitor, sector and market research, presenting findings in a clear and structured way.
• Work closely with teams including Underwriting, Legal, Marketing, Compliance and Distribution to coordinate information and support product activity.
• Support the onboarding of new products into internal systems and processes.
• Work with internal AI developers and strategists to identify ways technology can improve team workflows and efficiency.
• Provide proactive day-to-day operational support across the Product Innovation team and contribute to ad hoc projects.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• An early-career professional with a genuine interest in developing a career within insurance.
• Some previous experience through an internship, placement, part-time role or full-time position within operations, administration, financial services or insurance would be beneficial.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at the same time.
• Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SharePoint or similar document management systems is advantageous.
• Curiosity around AI and an interest in using technology to improve processes and workflows.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive, dependable approach with the ability to take ownership of defined tasks and work independently.

You do not need previous insurance product design experience. We’re looking for someone with the right foundations, curiosity and willingness to learn, with the opportunity to build deeper product expertise as you develop within the role.
