Renishaw is looking for a Production Supervisor to join our Manufacturing Services Division. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a team within a precision engineering environment, producing high-quality electro-mechanical products.
Working within a high-mix, high-complexity assembly operation, you will play a key role in ensuring customer demand is met while driving improvements in quality, delivery, safety and productivity. You will collaborate closely with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and customer-facing teams to create a positive and high-performing production environment.
Responsibilities
Leading, coaching and developing a team of operators and technicians
Creating a safe, engaged and high-performing working environment
Coordinating activities to resolve production, process and quality issues
Managing production schedules to meet customer requirements
Supporting inventory planning and material availability
Analysing performance data and identifying opportunities for improvements
Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery and efficiency
Working closely with engineering, supply chain and product teams to support business objectives
Key requirements
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, engage and develop people
Experience working within a manufacturing, production or engineering environment
Confidence analysing data and using performance metrics to drive improvements
Good planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
A practical, problem-solving approach and a focus on delivering results
