Senior UX Designer - AI Native

As a Senior UX Designer - AI Native, you'll help shape the core platform that powers Virtuox operations, turning complex clinical, technical, and operational workflows into intuitive, user-centered experiences. Working alongside Product, Engineering, Clinical, Operations, Compliance, and CX teams, you'll tackle meaningful challenges that directly impact how healthcare is delivered. What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end UX design from discovery through delivery, including workflow mapping, concept development, prototyping, validation, detailed design, and iteration.
• Translate complex clinical, operational, and technical requirements into intuitive user experiences and scalable interaction models.
• Design and optimize data-heavy workflows involving queues, tables, lists, search, filtering, sorting, status management, and exception handling.
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to define problems, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Create UX artifacts such as user flows, wireframes, prototypes, journey maps, service blueprints, and interaction specifications.
• Leverage research insights, analytics, operational data, and stakeholder feedback to inform design decisions.
• Identify opportunities where automation and AI can improve workflow efficiency, accuracy, and visibility.
• Facilitate design reviews, workshops, and cross-functional alignment sessions.
• Champion accessible design practices and collaborate with Engineering to support accessible implementation.
• Work effectively within regulated environments involving clinical, compliance, privacy, security, legal, and operational stakeholders.
• Mentor fellow designers through feedback, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
• Use AI tools responsibly to accelerate ideation, synthesis, prototyping, content development, and design documentation.

What You Bring

• 6+ years of experience designing digital products.
• Experience designing complex enterprise, SaaS, healthcare, diagnostics, operations, or workflow-driven applications.
• Strong expertise in UX design, interaction design, information architecture, workflow design, and prototyping.
• Proven ability to simplify complex systems and create intuitive experiences.
• Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Skilled at creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and design documentation.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Commitment to accessibility, usability, and high-quality implementation.
• Experience working with AI-enabled workflows and tools to enhance design outcomes.

Nice to Have

• Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with design systems and front-end implementation considerations.
• Experience mentoring or coaching other designers.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is: $143,000 - $215,000.
