IT Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
• Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
• Provides support to end users on a variety of issues.
• Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
• Must respond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support in a timely manner.
• Works with third party vendors and Information Technology team to develop and maintain network infrastructure, identify security issues and resolve with little interruption to service.
• Demonstrates and provides outstanding customer and employee relations at all times.
• Assist with IT planning for the property.

• Partner with other departments for various activities to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Ensures the company is in compliance with policies procedures, internal controls and government regulations.
• Performs programming and supervises installation of equipment where necessary.
• Attends periodic meetings and training sessions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• AA degree in related field
• Three (3) years IT related experience, preferably in a hospitality environment
• Strong analytical, technical and communication skills
• Ability to troubleshot and work independently to resolve time sensitive issues
• Must have experience handling both hardware and software problems
• Working knowledge of word processing programs, network systems and in-house systems
• Minimum 18 years old and have the ability to obtain appropriate license pursuant to gaming regulations.
• Strong networking experience a plus
