Rev Genomics seeks a versatile PhD for an open scientist position. Plant biologists will be given top priority. The position comes with competitive salary, stock options, and a health-care plan. - PhD in plant biology or a related discipline (open to recent grads as well as those with industry experience)
- Deep expertise in plant tissue culture, with experience with plant transformation highly desirable
- Excellent molecular biology skills
- Exposure to bio-informatics highly desirable Essentially, if you can take a project from conception, through construct creation, to plant transformation, to regeneration, you might be the perfect candidate. Other highly desirable skills include:
- Excellent work ethic. This is a start-up, and there aren’t many 40-hour weeks.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team. In other words, personality matters.
- Great attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills.
