JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Associate with 6+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions through comprehensive test planning, test case creation, test execution, defect management, and active participation in Agile delivery processes. The role requires close collaboration with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, identify risks, and ensure successful project delivery.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Participate in all Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Review and analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios and quality risks.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Development teams to clarify requirements and resolve functional queries.
Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Validate application functionality against business requirements and expected outcomes.

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Experience in test case design, test execution, defect management, and test reporting.
Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
Understanding of functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
Experience in requirement analysis and test coverage assessment.
Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger is desirable.
Exposure to test automation frameworks and automated testing tools is preferred.

Good planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining strong team collaboration.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Sciences, Information Technology. [BTECH]
ISTQB Foundation Certification or other QA-related certifications will be considered an advantage.
