Revolution provides our communities with a wide range of the highest-quality medical and adult-use cannabis products. We are hiring a Cultivator to support the daily cultivation operations at our Delavan, IL Cultivation facility. The Cultivator is responsible for supporting daily plant care and cultivation activities to ensure healthy, high-quality cannabis production. This role involves monitoring plant health, maintaining cultivation equipment, recording data, and following all standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with state regulations and company standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to safety and biosecurity protocols while contributing to a clean, efficient, and team-oriented grow environment.

Essential Functions:

· Demonstrate consistent, reliable attendance and punctuality to maintain daily operations and team effectiveness.

· Observe all safety and biosecurity practices and guidelines while executing tasks.

· Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cultivation, sanitation, and safety.

· Record data in accordance with SOPs and compliance requirements.

· Monitor plant health daily, identifying and addressing pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies; report concerns to the IPM Manager.

· Operate and maintain cultivation equipment.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.

· Participate in plant care across all growth stages, including propagation, vegetative, flowering, harvest, and post-harvest phases.

· Follow all safety and PPE guidelines in accordance with OSHA, Illinois Department of Agriculture, and product label standards.

· Perform other related duties and assist in other areas of the department as assigned.

Minimum Education/Experience:

· Positive attitude, ability to follow directions, and desire to learn

· Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agronomy, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

· Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. 

· Detail-oriented and highly organized

· Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written

· Ability to solve problems effectively and identify solutions quickly on your feet

· Demonstrated ability to record data accurately

· Commitment to high-quality work

· Prior exposure to cannabis cultivation. 

· Familiarity with cannabis-specific state regulations in Illinois.

Additional Requirements:

· Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

· Must possess valid state ID.

· Must be able to obtain, and maintain, state badging requirements in order to work in in cannabis industry (requires background check and state review).

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to perform effectively all essential functions. In addition to other demands, the demands of the job include:

• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance. 
• Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks. 
• Must be able to tolerate strong odors in the workplace.
• May be exposed to dust, kief, cleaning chemicals, and fumes. Although systems are in place to remove these byproducts, there is still exposure to some degree. 
• Must be able to work in rooms with bright light where eye protection is required. 
• Must be able to work in rooms with moderate heat and humidity. 
• Constantly exposed to moderate background noise due to environmental systems, equipment, and fans. 
• Must be able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, or humid conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater). 
• Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as: reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions. 
• Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise).

Work Schedule:

· 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs.

·  Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
