Packaging Technician

Packaging Technicians are responsible for packaging medical cannabis and other products produced at the facility in a safe and compliant manner.  Responsibilities include maintaining organizational goals and culture, while remaining compliant with state/federal, and other regulatory authorities and organizations.

Job Type: Full-time

Essential Functions:

• Label and package all Revolution products as needed
• Maintain a clean workspace to prevent cross-contamination
• Perform quality assurance checks during, harvest, curing, trimming and packaging process
• Weigh and record data in accordance with standard operating procedure
• Basic cannabis knowledge a plus
• Adhere to biosecurity measures to prevent cross contamination
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and/or Experience

No previous experience necessary. 

Qualifications:

• Minimum age requirement 21
• Passion for medical cannabis
• High School diploma or GED required, some college education preferred
• Ability to work some weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to hand trim with sheers for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds
• Great attitude and ability to follow direction Ability to successfully pass a thorough internal and external background check including criminal history check by the State Police and FBI
• Ability to obtain a Cultivation Registration Identification Card from the IL Department of Agriculture

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance. 
• Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks. 
• Must be able to tolerate strong odors in the workplace
• Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a scale, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions. 

Work Schedule:

· 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs.

·  Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
