Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Floater Machine Operator at our Manufacturing Plant in Weyauwega, WI.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced Floating Operator to join our team. This individual will play a key role in driving our quality assurance initiatives, maintaining product standards, supporting training, and conducting in-depth audits across various production processes. The Quality Lead will be responsible for ensuring consistent adherence to internal and external quality requirements while supporting continuous improvement efforts across operations.

You will have the opportunity to...

• • Quality Testing Oversight:Ensure accurate and timely quality checks are performed.
  • Quality Accountability:

  Work directly with the Shift Leaders to ensure Team Members follow quality check standards, utilize machine setup guides and conduct follow ups for holds and customer complaints.

  • Testing Station Liaison:Check and maintain functionality of all quality testing stations.  Communicate issues across all shifts and to Quality Manager.
  • Recipe Verification:Verify recipes match product being ran.
  • Training Resource:Serve as the training resource for all quality testing procedures, ensuring procedures and expectations are clearly communicated and understood.
  • Auditing and Sampling:
  • Conduct regular audits on winders and review their settings.
  • Assist with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) audits.
  • Finished goods quality audits.
  • Audit retain samples.
  • Documentation & Standards:Create and update Standard Work Procedures, TMUs, quality notices, and other supporting quality documentation.
  Complaint Investigations:Assist with investigations into customer complaints and holds to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Working knowledge of all Production lines
• Proven experience in a quality assurance or control role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a hands-on approach to quality management.
• Knowledge of GMP and BRCGS standards preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to train and mentor team members.
• Basic skills in MS Office.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across departments.
