Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Machine Operator- FreshLock/SlideRite at our Manufacting Plant in Waupaca, WI.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!

• Work safely in a manner that protects and promotes the health and well-being of the individual and the environment.
• Have a basic knowledge of the extrusion process and a mechanical understanding of various equipment, including the ability to operate computerized equipment.  Be able to troubleshoot equipment to resolve problems.  Have an understanding of the quality requirements of the product being produced.
• Operate extrusion line (s).
• Perform all required documentation and quality checks.
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning procedures.
• Assist co-workers and relieve other operators for breaks.
• Provide training for other operators.
• Assist putting finished rolls away
• Assist making spools
• Assist restocking supplies – fibers, v-boards, slip-sheets, skids, and spool parts.
• Assist taking out full skids and wrapping
• Assist with start-ups – picking up scrap, weighing, putting into correct big boys, and taking out full skids of scrap.
• Complete general housekeeping assignments per Team Leader
• Assist with 5’s activities in area
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Shift or Team Leader.

Qualifications

We need you to have:

• Good extrusion trouble shooting skills.
• Good understanding of spec’s and job jackets.
• Working knowledge of blenders/winders.
• Good record keeping/auditing abilities.
• Good Teamwork/coaching skills.
• Able to work overtime as required.
• Good computer/communication ski

Icing on the cake:

• Post high school education
• Experience in a plastics manufacturing environment
