    Role Overview

We are hiring clinical supervisors across the RMT program to provide clinical supervision in the student clinic.

Clinical supervisors support student learning in the on-site teaching clinic, and at outreach locations.

    Delivery format is in-person.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Facilitate active, experiential learning in clinical settings
    • Support development of clinical reasoning, communication, and professional behaviour
    • Provide clear, constructive feedback and evaluate student performance
    • Maintain a safe and ethical learning environment for students and patients/clients
    • Uphold standards related to consent, boundaries, and patient communication

    • Registered Massage Therapist in good standing
    • Minimum 2 years of clinical practice

    Ideal attributes:

    • Evidence-informed, biopsychosocial approach
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to teach beyond technique (reasoning, consent, professionalism)
    • Open to feedback and ongoing development

Teaching experience is an asset, but not required.

    Schedule & Compensation

    • In-person: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM or 2:00 PM – 8:30 PM
    • No weekends currently
    • Scheduling varies by semester
    • Contract roles, with employee option at 20+ hours/week
    • Competitive hourly compensation based on experience

    Why Join Rhodes

    • Evidence-informed, communication-focused training
    • Experiential, active classrooms
    • Brand new campus and program
    • Established college (30+ years)
    • Opportunity for growth as the program develops
    • Mentoring support from the RMT Program Manager and Senior RMT Educator
