Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for an Engineering Intern at our Carrington, ND durum milling and pasta production facility, where we produce Dakota Growers pasta.
- Responsible for drafting, equipment and part design, and implementation of designed components.
- Development of component dimensional drawings, updating facility layout drawings, and new component concept drawings using 2D AutoCAD software.
- Equipment documentation to improve component fabrication resource.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and management personnel to successfully complete assigned projects.
- Learn good manufacturing and food safety practices.
- Other duties, as assigned
- Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must have experience with mS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT)
- Must be able to deal with multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Successful completion of at least 6 semesters of an accredited Bachelor’s Degree Program in Agricultural & Biosystems Engineering, Industrial Engineering Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other applicable engineering field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with 2D AutoCAD software
- Previous experience in an Engineering Internship role
