The Quality Control Trimmer/Packager supports production by inspecting, trimming, tagging, and preparing products to meet company quality standards. This role is responsible for identifying defects, ensuring materials and finished goods conform to specifications. The position requires routine trimming of threads and labeling. The role demands attention to detail, use of basic measuring tools, and adherence to quality and safety procedures in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.
The schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares, organizes, counts, sorts, labels, trims, packages, and otherwise processes hats, apparel, materials, and products as required to support production.
- Reviews art pages, product information, and production instructions to ensure the correct product, materials, sizing, sequence, and requirements are followed.
- Inspects hats and apparel for quality, accuracy, sizing, and sequence to established specifications.
- Identifies and communicates defective materials, quality concerns, equipment issues, or other conditions that may affect safety, quality, or production.
- Maintains materials and supplies within the assigned work area and communicates replenishment needs.
- Follows established work methods, quality standards, safety procedures, and direction from supervisors or leads.
- Meets established quality, productivity, attendance, and work performance expectations.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Works collaboratively with supervisors, leads, and coworkers to support production workflow.
- Learns and performs related production activities as operational needs change.
- Performs other related duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
