Software Engineer - Web

Essential Functions
Excellent software engineering skills, the ability to work on a dynamic, cross functional team and the interest and desire to learn and apply new technologies is required.  You will participate in all stages of design, coding, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance.  You will need to keep up-to-date on the fast moving web technology landscape.
Technical Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of software product development experience. Startup experience is a plus.
  
• Experience in design of scalable, RESTful web services.
  
• Deep knowledge of  Java and/or Python. Experience with Ruby is an added plus.
  
• Good knowledge of SQL/NoSQL Databases.
  
• Core competency in HTML / HTML5, CSS, & JavaScript.
  
• Experience with client side video frameworks and players is also desirable.
  
• Working knowledge of cryptography and web security best practices is required.
  
• Must have a strong academic background from a premier engineering institute.
