EDM Managed Services - Associate Consultant

Join our global Client Services team and play a key role in delivering high‑quality enterprise data management services to the world’s leading investment organisations. You will work at the intersection of data, technology, and client service, helping to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and reliability of critical financial data across a complex, global operating model.

As part of our EDM Managed Services function, you will collaborate with colleagues across regions to monitor service flows, resolve data issues, support clients, and uphold robust operational and control standards. The role offers exposure to a wide range of asset classes, datasets, and technologies, as well as opportunities to develop technical expertise, deepen domain knowledge, and grow responsibility over time.

What You Will Do

Training, Procedures & Professional Standards

• Apply established procedures and operational standards consistently, taking ownership for end‑to‑end task completion.

Service Flow Monitoring & Operational Delivery

• Monitor key service flows and conduct detailed investigations into failures, delays, and data quality issues.

• Proactively escalate operational risks or recurring service disruptions.

• Provide oversight to ensure handovers between teams are clear, complete, and well documented.

Exceptions & Data Quality Management

• Act as Maker and/or Checker depending on exception complexity.

• Review exception trends and escalate systemic or high‑risk issues for further analysis.

Client & Stakeholder Query Handling (RSD)

• Manage and resolve complex client and stakeholder queries requiring detailed investigation.

• Coordinate with internal teams and escalate cases requiring specialist expertise or approval.

Incident Management

• Initiate and manage incident tickets for operational failures or disruptions.

• Coordinate resolution activities across internal teams and provide status updates as required.

Controls & Compliance

• Perform assigned activities within the control framework to maintain operational integrity.

• Identify and highlight risks, near‑misses, or control gaps through oversight reporting.

Reporting & Documentation

• Provide oversight of operational and governance reporting.

• Support the creation, refresh, and accuracy of performance and control reports.

Workload & Service Discipline

• Maintain weekly updates to team task trackers, including project work, training, and bank holidays.

• Support workload planning and forecasting to reflect operational demand.

Change & Weekend Support

• Support regression testing and operational readiness during change events.

• Participate in scheduled or weekend support rotations as required.

Who You Are

• Basic understanding of EDM Services, data ingestion, data processing, and related operational workflows, enabling independent decision‑making and informed trade‑offs when resolving issues.

• Independently analyses complex data workflows and identifies root causes and improvement opportunities.

• Deep understanding of EDM Services and the value they deliver to clients.

• Solid experience managing issues in a client‑facing environment—internally or externally.
• Can acts as a reliable deputy, coordinating across teams and maintaining service continuity.
• Can work nightshift (9PM-6AM) and can do 2-3x RTO
