Career Opportunity

The Wiring Technician is responsible for installing, routing, connecting, and securing electrical wiring and components within modular units during the manufacturing process. This position follows established drawings, work instructions, and safety procedures to ensure wiring is installed accurately, efficiently, and to Rise Modular quality standards. 

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, comfortable working with hand tools, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 

Essential Functions:

• Install and route electrical wiring within modular units according to approved drawings, plans, and work instructions.
• Install electrical boxes, outlets, switches, fixtures, and other designated electrical components.
• Measure, cut, strip, label, and secure wiring as required.
• Inspect completed wiring for proper installation, routing, connections, and workmanship.
• Identify and report damaged materials, incorrect installation, or potential quality issues to the supervisor.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and properly.
• Work collaboratively with other production teams to keep modular units moving through the manufacturing process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended period. 
• Ability to use hands and fingers for repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work in all elements depending on job location and time of year
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, kneel, crouch, and work overhead. 
• Must physically be capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs
