    Job description

    About Reboot Monkey

Reboot Monkey provides data center and IT infrastructure services to clients across multiple locations. Our technicians support clients with onsite data center tasks including hardware installation, rack and stack, cabling, hardware replacement, troubleshooting, and other smart hands/remote hands services.

We’re looking for experienced Freelance Data Center Technicians in Sydney who are comfortable working independently and taking on onsite assignments based on client demand.

    About the Role

This is an hourly, on-demand contract opportunity supporting data center operations in Sydney, Australia.

Technicians are dispatched to client sites for specific projects or tickets. Assignments and schedules vary depending on client requirements, so there is no guaranteed number of hours per week or fixed 8-hour workday. Some assignments may be a few hours, while others may be a full day or longer.

This opportunity is well suited for technicians who want flexible work around other professional commitments and are comfortable accepting onsite assignments as they become available.

Technicians will generally support data center assignments within or near the Sydney area.

    Compensation & Work Setup

    • Hourly, project-based contract

    • Paid for actual hours worked on assigned tickets/projects

    • No guaranteed minimum number of hours
