    Job description

Our client is a fast-growing global fintech company operating a leading online trading platform with a strong international footprint. They are looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to join a scaling global technology organisation and build the HRBP function from the ground up - establishing processes and frameworks where none currently exist. For the right person, this is a rare opportunity to have real ownership and make a lasting impact in a company that moves fast, values bold ideas, and invests in its people.

    Responsibilities:

    • Act as a trusted People Partner to global technology leaders, translating business objectives into people initiatives that drive organisational performance and long-term success.

    • Build HRBP processes and frameworks from scratch - this is a greenfield role, not a support function inheriting existing structures.

    • Anticipate future talent needs through headcount planning and business forecasting; work with leaders to build scalable staffing models and succession plans.

    • Partner with the Talent team to optimise recruitment strategies and ensure seamless onboarding experiences for top tech talent.

    • Implement performance frameworks that promote accountability, supporting managers with goal setting, continuous feedback, and development plans.

    • Design and deliver L&D programmes - from technical up-skilling to leadership workshops - aligned with global priorities.

    • Resolve workplace issues with empathy and fairness; lead engagement and retention initiatives and maintain feedback channels to surface insights.

    • Create scalable HR policies aligned with global best practices and local labour regulations, monitoring regulatory changes across markets.

    • Enhance HR processes, payroll coordination, HRIS administration, and reporting by embedding automation and best practices.

    • Use HR analytics, dashboards, and survey data to track key metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.

    Requirements:

    • 7–10 years in HRBP or HR leadership roles within fast-growing technology companies.

    • Proven experience partnering with C-level stakeholders in technical departments (Product, Engineering, IT, Security) - this is a must.

    • Demonstrated ability to in managing HR operations, payroll, HRIS, and policy implementation in complex, fast-paced environments.

    • Strategic and analytical mindset, the ability to connect business goals to people initiatives and use data to drive decisions and measure impact.

    • Extensive experience partnering on recruitment initiatives, designing onboarding programmes, and implementing performance frameworks for high-performing tech teams.

    • Experience with labour law and local employment practices.

    • Exceptional communication and influencing skills across senior leadership and international teams.

    • Openness to AI-driven ways of working; experience with AI tools is a plus.

    • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; CIPD or equivalent is a strong plus. Fluent English (B2+).
