Our online data platform integrates internal CRM/ERP/Other data, providing our clients a comprehensive understanding of their customer, processes, and other KPIs, enabling data-driven decision-making.

Who we’re looking for:

RocketX is in search of an accomplished Senior Data Engineer to assume a pivotal role in spearheading the development, delivery and maintenance of our online data platform. The ideal candidate will boast extensive experience in data management, manipulation, and optimization, coupled with a passion for architecting efficient data pipelines and systems for our customers.

Job responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and maintain highly scalable data pipelines and infrastructures to facilitate the acquisition, processing, and analysis of both internal and external prospect data.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and ensure seamless integration of data from diverse sources into the platform.

• Lead the design and optimization of ETL and ELT processes to ensure streamlined data flows and storage within the platform.

• Spearhead the creation and maintenance of robust data models aligned with business requirements to enable the generation of actionable insights for clients.

• Conduct regular audits of data quality and implement robust measures to uphold data integrity and consistency.

• Evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies and tools to enhance data processing and analysis capabilities.

• Work collaboratively with the customer delivery team and development team to seamlessly integrate data-driven features and functionalities into the online platform.

What you bring to the table:

• Possess an analytical mindset with a high level of critical thinking, ideally backed by an academic background in software development, engineering, or related fields.

• Demonstrated leadership experience with a minimum of 6-8 years in a Senior Data Engineer or similar role, showcasing proficiency in leading data-centric projects.

• Expertise in programming languages such as Python, complemented by a deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Extensive experience with cloud-based data solutions, with a preference for proficiency in Azure (Databricks), GCP and/or AWS.

• Strong grasp of data warehousing and data modeling concepts, coupled with proven problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Ideally experience with client delivery projects.

• Hands-on experience with data processing frameworks such as Spark, Apache Airflow, DBT, Hadoop, or Flink is highly desirable.
