Join Our Team as an Insurance Lead at KFC Rohloff Group
Are you passionate about managing risk, ensuring compliance, and delivering exceptional attention to detail in every aspect of insurance administration? We’re looking for an Insurance Lead to join our dynamic team at KFC Rohloff Group. In this role, you’ll play a key part in protecting the Group’s assets and supporting business continuity by overseeing the administration of our insurance portfolio and claim's function. As the primary point of contact for all insurance-related matters, you will work closely with insurers, brokers, third-party claimants, and internal stakeholders to ensure the efficient handling and resolution of claims.
What you'll be doing:
Insurance Administration & Claims Management
- Manage the Group's insurance administration and claims portfolio.
- Handle claims from notification through to settlement, ensuring compliance with policy requirements and timelines.
- Liaise with insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, legal representatives, and third-party claimants.
- Prepare and submit claims documentation and maintain accurate records and claims registers.
- Monitor claim progress, follow up on outstanding matters, and resolve queries.
- Assist with policy renewals, underwriting requests, and insurance schedule updates.
Reporting
- Prepare insurance and claims reports for management.
- Track and analyse claims trends, outstanding claims, settlements, and insurer performance.
- Provide recommendations to improve claims outcomes and reduce losses.
Risk & Compliance
- Support insurance risk assessments and risk management initiatives.
- Identify trends and recommend loss prevention and risk mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with insurance policies, legislation, and internal procedures.
- Support audits and drive continuous improvement in insurance and claims processes.
What is required of you:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/National Diploma in Commerce, Law, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field.
- Recognised Short-Term Insurance qualification.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial insurance and claims administration.
- Experience managing claims from notification to settlement.
- Experience liaising with insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, legal advisors, and third-party claimants.
- Retail, Hospitality, QSR, or FMCG experience will be advantageous.
Knowledge & Skills
- Commercial short-term insurance and claims processes.
- Insurance policy interpretation and risk management principles.
- Report preparation, data analysis, and record management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, planning, and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
