Rosehill School, a large and multicultural specialist school in South Auckland, is seeking a passionate and committed Scale A New Zealand registered teacher for a permanent, full-time position.
This role is ideal for a teacher with a strong interest in working with ORS-funded ākonga. Experience in neuro-affirming approaches, such as play-based pedagogy, relationship-centred practice, and sensory-informed teaching, would be a real advantage.

You will work closely with a team of teacher aides and therapists, with ongoing support from syndicate leaders and our development coaches. Collaboration is at the heart of how we work.
Rosehill School caters for ākonga aged 5 to 21 years across 16 sites, including our base school and a network of satellite classes. Our size and structure offer rich opportunities to teach in varied settings. We place a strong emphasis on hands-on learning, real-world experiences, and building respectful, meaningful relationships.
We are particularly interested in teachers who bring specialist knowledge and experience, as well as those with the enthusiasm and commitment to develop expertise in specialist education.

Salary and conditions are in line with the Primary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers ranges from $62,862 to $105,686, depending on qualifications and experience. SDA and PTSA are paid in addition to base salary.
