RVA’s Water discipline is looking for a student to join their team for 8 or 12 month co-op position. The position will start from January 2027.

Duties:

• Review of work and preparation of daily/weekly reports.
• Coordination of quality assurance checks.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team to address and resolve problems arising during construction.
• Monitoring of work and review of contractor payments.
• Handling of submittals and tracking deadlines.
• Other duties as appropriate for this position.

Qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled as a third- or fourth-year engineer student at an accredited college or university.
• Demonstrates superior communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must have a valid G Class Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.
• Must be comfortable with construction site work.

Compensation Range

The salary range for this position is: $25-$30/hour

Compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
