Associate Research Analyst will work with Market Operations Support team to provide research services to support sales campaigns and marketing efforts, data needs of internal clients, and data creation/modification in Salesforce CRM. Execute market research and consulting assignment/projects, reconciliation of data with Salesforce CRM, usage of databases such as D&B, ZoomInfo, Costar, Zint and Pitchbook. Activities will be primarily directed to lead generation, potential client, company, and executive research.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Research:
- Research databases and online information sources to develop target lists for sales campaigns.
- Gather relevant executive contact information of various companies to communicate with prospects.
- Develop company profiles for sales campaigns to give detailed overview to assist sales personnel for pitching and meetings.
- Understand clients' requirements and execute projects/tasks with the guidance of supervisors.
- Perform various activities in Salesforce CRM such as effective search of data; creation and modification of information; and develop various types of reports/dashboards.
Other:
- Must familiarize master research databases such as D&B, ZoomInfo, Costar, Cognism, Zint and Pitchbook; as well as LinkedIn and other online sources as needed.
- Must develop detailed understanding on Salesforce CRM, internal sales process and data in CRM; and develop ability to use the CRM effectively.
- Ensure reliable and quality data through extensive search methods by prospecting Company Listings (Forbes, Fortune Companies, and Stock exchange listed Companies).
- Ensure the completed work is posted to the internal databases and is reviewed. The same should be reported in all channels as per the team's requirements.
- Ensure no inaccuracy while dealing with Salesforce CRM, that includes creation and modification of data.
- Participate in internal client meetings/calls, discussions with stakeholders in finalizing scope of projects, communicate outliers, deviations, etc.
- Learn and implement new techniques required to complete the project assignments.
- Able to work on tasks independently; find ways to work on new type of tasks when required.
Education and Experience:
- Masters or Bachelors’ Degree in Finance/ Commerce/ Accounting/ Business
- 6 months to 1-year relevant experience (preferred)
Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic knowledge in Microsoft Word, and Excel
