sa.global is looking for a motivated Junior Shared Services Center (SSC) Accountant to join our international finance team. This Serbia-based role offers a hybrid work environment and an opportunity to develop practical accounting experience within an international finance team.

As a Junior SSC Accountant, you will support daily finance operations and assist with monthly and year-end closing activities. You will help ensure that accounting processes are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with sa.global policies, internal controls, and applicable local legislation.

Main Responsibilities

• Process intercompany billing and invoices
• Process expense reports
• Distribute invoices for approval and follow up on their status
• Enter and process incoming invoices in the finance module of the ERP system
• Prepare monthly payment runs
• Process bank transactions
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions
• General ledger postings
• Payroll journals processing
• Reconcile intercompany balance sheet and profit and loss accounts
• Participate in month-end closing activities within agreed deadlines
• Assist with the audit process
• Maintain supporting documentation, including invoices and bank statements, in SharePoint
• Provide accurate financial data for reporting and analysis
• Support process and reporting improvements by participating in system testing

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field is strongly preferred
• Previous internship or entry-level experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role is an advantage
• Knowledge of accounting principles and processes
• Strong attention to detail
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with good working knowledge of Excel
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP system is considered an advantage
