We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual with excellent technical and organizational skills, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and who takes pride in producing quality work with a high degree of accuracy and superior attention to detail. An ideal candidate will have experience with using 3D software for structural drafting / design in an engineering consulting environment.
Responsibilities:
Working closely with engineers to develop structural drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data, to be issued for a wide range of industries.
Perform drafting using AutoCAD and Revit to develop structural (and civil) drawings
Drawings to include plans, sections, details, and general notes.
Preparing and assisting in the release of drawings and documentation for projects
Performing calculations in accordance with established methods
Actively working on improving drafting skills and increasing knowledge of structural design though self-training, in-house training, and external courses
