Nightshift: Monday to Friday, 11 PM to 8 AM PH time

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Infrastructure Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance technology infrastructures. This role is responsible for managing and supporting on-premises and hybrid environments, including servers, virtualization platforms, data center infrastructure, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, storage, backup solutions, and end-user technical support.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on infrastructure generalist with strong troubleshooting abilities and broad experience across enterprise technologies. This individual will serve as a key technical resource, ensuring the reliability, performance, security, and scalability of our organization's and/or our client’s infrastructure while delivering exceptional support to users.
This role requires a critical thinker who can effectively troubleshoot complex issues in dynamic environments, work independently, and balance project-based work with escalated support responsibilities.
Essential Responsibilities
- Administer and support Windows Server environments and core infrastructure services.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, user accounts, permissions, and identity management.
- Administer Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, licensing, and user support.
- Administer Microsoft Azure and hybrid identity environments including Microsoft Entra ID.
- Maintain VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V environments, including vCenter administration, cluster management, virtual machine provisioning, monitoring, patching, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Support physical servers, storage systems, and data center operations.
- Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
- Provide Tier II/III technical support and serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, hardware, virtualization, cloud, and end-user technology problems.
- Implement security best practices, system patching, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure maintenance activities.
- Maintain technical documentation and participate in infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and platform improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, business stakeholders, and clients to support organizational technology needs.
- Effectively prioritize and manage a combination of project work, escalations, and operational support activities.
- Communicate directly with end users and clients to resolve technical issues and provide updates when required.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience providing advanced technical support, escalation handling, and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication, customer service, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Windows Server Administration
- Microsoft 365 Administration
- Microsoft Azure and Entra ID
- VMware vSphere, vCenter, and/or Microsoft Hyper-V
- DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Backup and recovery solutions
- Storage technologies and data center operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in managed services (MSP) or multi-client environments.
- Experience with PowerShell or automation tools.
- Experience performing virtualization platform maintenance, patching, upgrades, and migrations.
- Relevant certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, CompTIA Server+, or similar infrastructure-focused certifications.
