Temporary Internal Registry Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Shift
Location: Evanston, IL Department: Telemetry Status: Temporary Internal Registry Shift: Day Shift Compensation: $60.00 per hour (Flat Rate)
Assignment Details:
The assignment is expected to last 12 weeks; however, staffing needs will be evaluated on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted based on operational requirements.
The incumbent functions as a member of the Cardiovascular Service line supporting Noninvasive Cardiology in alignment with Prime Healthcare’s mission and values. Incumbent performs a range of cardiovascular procedures under limited supervision and is responsible for helping to develop and implement care plans and education to assure the smooth, efficient flow of both inpatients and outpatients as care is provided across the spectrum of Cardiovascular Service line and the hospital. Duties include, but are not limited to, appropriate oversight and management of patient handoffs, administration of medications and monitoring of patients during a variety of cardiovascular tests and exercise programs including but not limited to stress testing, ekg testing, and heart monitor applications.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state RN License.2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.3. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire. 4. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.5. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.6. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
