Job Summary:

The Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer will support all phases of a project from inception to completion of construction. This role is designed to foster growth and nurture design talents, providing a solid foundation for a successful career in engineering. Reporting to a Team Lead and Project Manager, you will collaborate with senior designers and engineers to perform design tasks at all stages of design and construction.

In this role, you will:

• Implement designs as directed by senior designers and engineers.
• Collaborate with technical staff to design and detail new systems, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and adherence to quality assurance measures.
• Participate in on-site observations, information gathering, and interactions with clients and contractors during both the design and construction phases.
• Design mechanical and HVAC systems following written and verbal directions from senior designers or engineers.
• Coordinate designs with other disciplines to ensure constructability and maintainability of engineered systems.

Qualifications:

• BS Mechanical Engineering degree required from an ABET-accredited program
• 0-3 years professional Mechanical Engineering experience
• EIT Certification preferred but not required
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications
• Experience with CAD, Revit, Bluebeam Revu, or other Mechanical system modeling/drafting software is highly preferred.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• Valid/Unrestricted driver license in your state of residency.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

• Must be a US Citizen.

Travel: Up to 25%

Compensation & Benefits:

The expected base salary range for this role is $68k-74k USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
