POSITION SUMMARY
This position is a multi-purpose position. The primary purpose is to provide leadership of discipline engineers and designers in the design decision making process with respect to technical compliance and best practices. The secondary purpose is to ensure compliance with respect to project scope, budget and scheduling when performing as a Project Lead Discipline Engineer. The third purpose of this position is to provide a liaison between Discipline Engineers, Project Managers and the Chief Discipline Engineer regarding the course of specific projects with respect to the discipline.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Sr. Civil Engineer IV
- Familiarity with design engineering and drawing production programs and software.
- Familiarity with understanding scope change control process and ability to identify most scope changes
- Willingness to conform to core values and assist others to adhere to them. Ensures quality and completeness of engineering functions.
- Ability to support proposals and manhour estimation
Sr. Civil Engineer III
- Understanding of work sequence, general content, and methods used to generate all required project discipline documents.
- Thorough grasp of applicable codes and regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of scope change control process and ability to identify scope changes easily.
Sr. Civil Engineer II
- Plans, schedules and conducts detailed discipline engineering work with other disciplines.
- Prepares and submits periodic reports and forecasts specific to project requirements.
- Coordinates the discipline’s engineering with that of the other disciplines. Directs and assigns the preparation of all discipline design drawings and specifications required for a project to those discipline personnel assigned to the project.
Sr. Civil Engineer I
- Assumes “in-charge” responsibility and technical compliance with all codes, laws and regulations associated with a Professional Engineer role.
- Establishes schedules, budgets and scope documents to meet project requirements compatible with Customer’s and Company’s objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PER JOB LEVEL
- Sr. Civil Engineer IV – Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related; PE license expected; ten (10) years experience
- Sr. Civil Engineer III – Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related; PE license; twelve (12) years experience
- Sr. Civil Engineer II – Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related; PE license; fourteen (14) years experience
- Sr. Civil Engineer I – Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related; PE license; fifteen (15) years experience
