POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Electrical Designer plays a key role in the design and development of electrical systems for heavy industrial projects. This position is responsible for creating detailed electrical designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements, and collaborating with engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Sr. Electrical Designer IV
- Design activities include power and control, cable tray, lighting, heat trace, grounding, lightning protection and cathodic protection.
- Designer is responsible for completing activities of assigned work on a project to project basis to meet schedule requirement.
Sr. Electrical Designer III
- Designer is responsible for weekly plan of all projects and tasks. The weekly plan is to include project assignments, estimated completion date, any project issues and any overhead requirements.
- Designer is responsible for creating and submitting written and technical reports in regards to the nature, status and result of design assignments.
Sr. Electrical Designer II
- Designer will exercise judgment in the selection and organization of work methods and the determination of procedures most appropriate to the immediate task at hand and per individual expertise level.
- Designer shall develop, approve, and coordinate work schedules to ensure that objectives of cost, quality and time are met.
Sr. Electrical Designer I
- Designer shall develop guidelines for complex design issues that were encountered
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PER JOB LEVEL
- Sr. Electrical Designer IV – Tech/Trade School/Continuing Education; ten (10) years experience
- Sr. Electrical Designer III – Tech/Trade School/Continuing Education; twelve (12) years experience
- Sr. Electrical Designer II Tech/Trade School/Continuing Education; fourteen (14) years experience
- Sr. Electrical Designer I - Tech/Trade School/Continuing Education; fifteen (15) years experience
