Clinical Supervisor, Social Work

About the Role
We are seeking an appropriately experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our Family Law team in this newly created role. Reporting to the Manager, Family Safety, this position will provide professional and clinical supervision to, and in support of, our team of seven social workers.

About you

You are a are a skilled social worker, with experience providing clinical and professional supervision to social workers at various stages in their career to ensure best practice and adherence to ethical and legal standards.

You will:

• Have an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
• Have highly developed practical skills in trauma informed and trauma responsive practice.
• Possess high level engagement skills, including the ability to effectively coach qualified professionals to build capability and knowledge.
• Demonstrate the ability to develop and execute effective approaches to develop supervisees’ competence and confidence based on their needs, including the ability to encourage reflective practice by appropriately challenging assumptions, exploring different perspectives and encouraging critical reflection to strengthen professional judgement and practice.
• Demonstrate experience providing clinical supervisory services to social workers ideally within a multi-disciplinary setting.

Salary Range

Salary offered will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications, on a casual basis.
AHP4: $78.62 - $85.60 per hour plus superannuation and leave loading
AHP5: $87.59 - $95.73 per hour plus superannuation and leave loading
AHP6: $105.19 per hour plus superannuation and leave loading
As a not-for-profit organisation, Legal Services is able to offer its employees attractive salary sacrifice arrangements, including up to $15,900 pre-tax Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year for general living expenses.
Term of Employment
Casual contract available for up to 24 months working 0.1 FTE at the AHP4, AHP5 or AHP6 classification level.
