Chief Accountant

The Chief Accountant is responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting and reporting activities in compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, payables, receivables, and payroll
Ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts
Manage tax reporting and compliance
Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure proper documentation
Monitor compliance with Sarens financial policies and internal controls
Supervise and guide the accounting team
Ensure proper cost allocation and support project accounting activities
Maintain communication with headquarters and ensure group reporting requirements are met
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional certification
Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, including supervisory role
Experience in multinational companies is an advantage
Proficiency in ERP systems (1С) and Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Languages English, Russian /Kazakh
