The Lawyer is responsible for providing legal support to the business by ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, managing legal risks, drafting and reviewing contracts and corporate documents, handling disputes and claims, and supporting the company's commercial operations and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence.
Prepare and maintain corporate documents, including articles of association, board and shareholders' resolutions, powers of attorney, and corporate records.
Support company incorporations, restructurings, liquidations, and other corporate governance matters.
Advise management and business departments on legal and regulatory requirements affecting operations.
Manage disputes, claims, litigation, arbitration, mediation, and insurance-related matters in cooperation with external counsel.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Law; Master's degree is an advantage.
Minimum 5-8 years of legal experience, preferably in an international corporate environment.
Competencies
Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to identify and mitigate legal risks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in English and Russian; knowledge of Kazakh is an advantage.
