Procure to pay Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the PTP team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, employee expenses and payments, including setting up/following/delivering on KPIs.

• Oversee the reconciliation of accounts payable subledgers and timely resolution of open items, maintenance of accurate payment records.

• Be accountable for month-end closing activities, including intercompany reconciliation for the entities in scope. 

• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in PTP operations.

• Leading projects and transitions (standardization, automatization) / PO process and system implementation, migration of new entities, ERP upgrade and other global and local projects.

• Oversee management of vendor relationships and escalations, including resolution of payment discrepancies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and active involvement in monthly closings.

• Provide insights and recommendations based on payment data analysis.

• Manage team performance, including setting objectives, providing feedback, and supporting professional development.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, active coordination of audit activities.

• Utilize the SAP ERP system and accounts payable software tool (Basware) effectively.

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills and Experience:

• A strong background in accounting, finance or related field from SSC environment, minimum 10 years

• Proven leadership experience in managing teams and driving performance.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and self-organized personality.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Proficiency in SAP and Excel.

• Experience in process improvement and digitalization, including globally managed projects.

• Good command of English and Czech or Slovak, German is an advantage
