Institutional Service Team Lead Amsterdam

We are seeking a hands-on, people-focused leader to drive exceptional service delivery for our Institutional clients and partners in our office in Amsterdam. In this role, you will develop and empower a high-performing team, ensure daily operations meet SLA as well as the quality, act as a key stakeholder in complex projects, and serve as the point of escalation for internal and external stakeholders. You will operate within the Bank’s governance framework and support the Bank’s efforts against TRE at all times.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the team through effective delegation, involvement, coaching and training.
• Ensure daily responsibilities are completed and service is delivered within agreed SLAs.
• Provide outstanding service to top Institutional Partners, consistently observing the Bank’s efforts against TRE.
• Build a deep understanding of clients’ businesses and needs to deliver proactive, value-adding support.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and a clear understanding of the underlying operational set-up.
• Act as a key stakeholder in larger, more complex projects and ad hoc initiatives.
• Ensure WINs & PROs are accurately maintained and regularly updated.
• Lead all core people-management activities, including monthly feedback, annual KPI setting and ad hoc performance conversations.
• Foster a culture of trust, accountability and collaboration within the team.

Your Profile

• Proven people leadership experience in client service or operations, ideally within financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to meet SLAs, improve processes and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a client-first mindset.
• Comfortable operating within governance, compliance and risk frameworks.
• Able to juggle multiple priorities and drive progress in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid product knowledge with a continuous learning approach.
• Familiarity with internal knowledge/workflow tools is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
