    Job Description/Responsibilities

    OPERATIONS ACCOUNTANT - IBDJob Overview: Accountabilities include cost accounting and asset control which involves B/S reconciliations, month end closing process, RNV, variance analysis, forecasting, finance reporting, cost reductions, developing and auditing inventory control procedures, physical inventory support, standard setting, BOMs/Routes, and item set up. Obtain and apply the Drive for Results skill in our endeavors.

    PRIORITIESo Timely and Accurate Close: Support the timely and accurate close of the P&L by WD3 and Balance Sheet by WD6 specific business unit(s) assigned. Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to maintain accurate general ledger records. Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with generally accepted accounting principleso Account Analysis: Perform account reconciliations, variance analysis, and ensure resolution of reconciling items. Review and analyze expense allocations, accruals, and intercompany transactionso AOP: Support the creation of the Annual Operational Plan by compiling data, analyzing and providing insights related to volume fluctuations, direct and indirect costs, inflation and productivity initiatives.o Reporting: Improve Monthly Reporting Process through automation. Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Accounts Payable, Supply-Chain, Logistics, Commercial Operations, and Plant Operations as required) to ensure accurate financial reporting. Maintain documentation of accounting procedures.o Audit: All steps necessary to prepare for annual audit, supply information to auditors, and support annual financial audit completion with your manager’s guidanceo Internal Controls: Maintain the integrity of the company's financial controls by testing / inspecting existing controls and updating controls as needed in concert with your manager’s guidance. Ensure fulfilment of fiduciary responsibilities including the safeguarding of company assets.o Financial Results Focused: End-in Mind treatment of CPC attainment, variance analysis, and what must be true to outperform and deliver resultso Drive for Results: Mindset/Skill to apply to all priority disciplines

    Qualifications/Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONSMUSTo Ability to communicate with all levels of an orgo Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or relevant experience.o Excellent oral & written communication skillso Working knowledge of ms office products (word, excel and outlook)o Ability to manage multiple projects at one timeo Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directedo Self-motivated, innovative and solution-oriented mindseto Strong analytical and technical skillsPREFERREDo Experience in alcohol beverage industry or cpg overallo Budgeting, planning and/or financial analysis experience.EXPERIENCEMUSTo 5 years accounting experience (minimum)o Willingness and optimism for working at a Plant settingPREFERREDo Experience w/ Oracle ERP PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSo In-person job attendance
